Six years ago Newrick was the Lead Captain of the Safeton guard. He took is job very seriously, and did everything in his power to help and protect the city he called home. When the gangs took over, he moved to the underground, and has been working at killing as many of the gang members as he can. In the last few years he has started to push his luck, perhaps out of desperation, because nothing seems to make a difference.
Newrick’s wife and daughter were murdered when the gangs moved in, along with hundreds of other innocents. Newrick may not be the same halfling he was.
While being a Captain, Newrick had an agreement with the Yellow Ribbon, now he uses them as much as he can. It is due to Newrick that the Yellow Ribbon was betrayed by the Assassins Guild.
