Safeton, Coldeven 26 (Waterday), 585, 10 am. cont.
The game restarted immediately after the last session. The party secured their current location, finding no further foes, and no treasure, they moved south down the great hall. The great hall ended at a set of once magnificent stairs, carefully they made their way down the stairs, now that all the foes had been defeated.
It was a large open room with 4 stairs leading into different rooms, just past the centre there was a carved fountain. The water was putrid, the original statue looks to have contained some sort of water spout, but the rest of the stonework was long broken. To the back was a petrified tree, many of its branches had broken off, wilted or changed direction. Floating above the tree where the illusionary leaves, in late spring. At one time the leaves were lined up with branches to make it look like a living tree.
Vifil chose to investigate the tree, took a breather, had a snack and got attacked by a water creature. It almost one-shotted him. Combat started again, during that fight the party fought boldly, eventually defeating the water creature and four ghouls that Vifil accidentally engaged with as he tried to get some distance between him and the water creature.
They searched but found nothing of value. Feeling that they have pushed their luck, the group took a tactical retreat and locked themselves into a room, for a long rest.

- 1 x short swords (They look like Safeton Regulars*/in good shape) (One given to Vonhilga)
- 4 x daggers (each is different/in good shape)
- 1 x suits of studded leather (in good shape), used to be 2, one suit was given to Pharum.
*Safeton Regulars are the Troops that do road patrols.
